While The Galleria isn't the only shopping opportunity in Houston Uptown, it is arguably the best know.  People come to The Galleria from all over Texas and indeed from around the world.  Over 400 businesses are included within the stunning architectural design featuring a glass covered atrium with ice rink and two hotels. The Galleria is the fourth largest mall in the United States and one of the most unusual in design. The Galleria has representative stores from some of the world's largest and best known retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus but it also contains the smaller individual business that specialize in such things as leather goods, jewelry and art.
